"Where do we even start! Kymmy was incredible from day 1. Both of us are by no means comfortable in front of a camera. We expressed from the start that we’d need help posing and looking natural, to which Kymmy said “no problem!” And boy did she mean it! We look like naturals in our engagement and wedding photos! When we booked Kymmy in December 2020, we were still in a long distance relationship and hadn’t been able to commit to an engagement photo date. Soon after, we both moved 8 hours away, putting an even bigger wrench in our potential engagement photo date. We found a weekend to come back to KC and Kymmy helped us pick outfits and locations that went with our vibe to prep. We made it to KC, but the weather for Sunday was looking like we wouldn’t be able to do any outdoor photos, so more than 75% of our session wasn’t going to be possible. Kymmy worked with us to squeeze us in Saturday evening last minute so we could still take our engagement pictures without coming back to KC again! We even got amazing golden hour photos!! We had SUCH a fun time with Kymmy during our engagement photos! Kainon is anti-pants with buttons, so making him wear leg prisons for 2 hours was going to be a struggle, but after our session, he admitted he had such a fun time, even in leg prisons! After our engagement photos, Kymmy kept in touch to help us plan for wedding day! We didn’t hire a planner/coordinator so Kymmy was SO helpful in creating a day of timeline and walking through logistics with us. She was so responsive to all our questions and made us feel as important as her sooner couples through the whole process. We had the best time on wedding day with Kymmy, too! Kymmy came early and was so prepared for the day! We got fabulous getting ready shots and candids of both sides of the wedding party! Kymmy’s eye for flat lay photos is unmatched! She worked with the layout limitations of the venue so well and managed to keep Kainon and I separate before our first look despite both areas looking directly at the front door. Kymmy was so much fun during our portraits and party photos! Our entire wedding party was laughing the whole time and everyone looks so natural! She found the exact right spot to do portraits where you couldn’t tell we were in the middle of downtown and had the best lighting! Kymmy was so efficient during the ceremony and family pictures. We have big families and lots of photos to take, but we ended up getting through them in enough time to enjoy some of cocktail hour! Despite the dance floor being cramped with tables while we had our first dance, Kymmy got amazing pictures during our first dance and cake cutting! We have such fun memories from the reception memorialized because of Kymmy’s eye and ability to predict the best angle/subject for the moment. After the day, Kainon and I were so impressed with how well she commanded the room and kept us on track and on time. Kymmy really went above and beyond for us and we’re so grateful! We had sneak peeks before we got to our honeymoon destination and our full gallery less than 3 weeks later! Overall, we cannot recommend Kymmy enough! Truly one of our wedding day MVPs!"
